About Proto-Contradiction

My name is Pablo Garcia and I know in my bones that capitalism must come to an end. I created this to write and share my thoughts and experiences with capitalism and its contradictions. I believe that contradictions are the best way to show how capitalism cannot be fixed but in fact must be dismantled. Outside of my job, I try to be an organizer in the Seattle area.

Beyond writing about capitalism, I also plan to share some thoughts around organizing. I've recently started organizing with orgs in the Seattle area and I've learned a lot about what that work entails. I'm still learning a lot but I want to share with you so that you may also be inspired to organize as well!

Lastly, I hope to have some guest writers at some point. I know so many great people in the Seattle Area who have so much to share about organizing and capitalism as well.

Why Is It Free And Also A Paid Subscription?

I don't want my writing to by hidden behind some paywall because it defeats the purpose of helping others understand the problems with capitalism. So with the subscription money, I'll be donating most of the money from these subscriptions to various orgs in the Seattle area and covering some of the cost of hosting this website (which not that large anyways).

The money will go to things like mutual aid organizations that help people who are having trouble paying bills and other organizations in the Seattle Area helping people who are struggling in our capitalist society.

But please, subscribe for free. I would prefer you subscribe for free than not at all!

How often will I post?

I plan on posting fairly regularly, but since this is in my extra time, we shall see!
